Taken from 'Rosemary Conley's Complete Hip and Thigh Diet' book Ingredients:
1 cup wheat bran |
1 cup sultana |
1/2 cup sugar (white or brown) |
1 cup milk, skimmed |
1 cup self-raising flour |
Directions:
1. Soak the bran, sugar, milk and fruit together for at least 2 hours. Add flour and pour into a loaf tin. 2. Bake at 180C/350F/Gas 4 for 1 - 1 1/2 hours. 3. Serve in slices. Dieters may consume an occasional slice as a treat! |
