                     We normally need to double this recipe.  Enjoy.  Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                2 tablespoons butter  |  
                                                2 1/2 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced  |  
                                                1/2 cup granny smith apple, chopped  |  
                                                1/4 red onion, finely chopped  |  
                                                1 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled (or more)  |  
                                                1/4 cup dry red wine  |  
                                                2 tablespoons red wine vinegar  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Melt butter in skillet. 2. Saute together the cabbage, apple, onion and bacon for about 6 minutes. 3. Add red wine and red wine vinegar. 4. Cover the skillet. 5. Simmer for 10 minutes OR until cabbage is tender. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.                              |
