Ingredients:
4 (3/4-inch-thick) pork loin chops (about 1 1/2 pounds) |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1/2 cup water |
fresh parsley sprigs (optional) |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper; dredge in flour. Sauté chops in oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Add water; cover and cook over low heat 45 minutes or until chops are tender. Remove chops to a warm serving platter, and garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired. |
