Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 large cucumbers, peeled and cut into 1-inch slices |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 medium tomatoes, peeled and cut into eighths |
1/4 cup water |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon dried whole dillweed |
1/2 cup commercial sour cream |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add sugar and salt; cook until lightly browned. Add cucumber and onion; cook, stirring constantly, until onion is tender. Add tomatoes, water, lemon juice, and dillweed. Cook an additional 12 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Serve immediately. |
