Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 sticks butter, softened |
3/4 cups white sugar |
3/4 cups brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
12 ounces chocolate or butterscotch chips |
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1 cup coconut flakes |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl beat butter with sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Fold in chips. Pour batter into a greased 9 1/2x113-inch baking pan. In a small bowl mix condensed milk with coconut. Pour coconut topping over batter and smooth evenly. Bake for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. |
