A splash of bourbon and vanilla bean paste punch up the flavor of our Bourbon-Vanilla Bean Frosting. Spread this frosting on your favorite cake or cupcake. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
1 (2-lb.) package powdered sugar |
1/2 cup milk |
5 tablespoons bourbon |
2 tablespoons vanilla bean paste |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar alternately with milk and bourbon, beating at low speed just until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla and salt. |
