A southern tradition! Wonderful with brunch or evening cocktail hour. Note that preparation does not include freeze time.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
12 oz concentrated frozen lemonade (thawed)
6 oz concentrated frozen orange juice (thawed)
6 cups water
1 1 /2 cups bourbon (use a less expensive brand for this)
2 family size tea bags
2 cups boiling water
Directions:
1. Steep tea bags in boiling water for 3 minutes. Remove tea bags, add sugar, and stir until sugar dissolved.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
3. Freeze in covered container. Once frozen break apart with large metal spoon and stir. You will want to stir this each time you serve.
4. Scoop into glasses - serve plain or splash heavily with soda like Mt Dew or 7 up.
5. Store in freezer.
