This recipe goes with Bread And Butter Pudding With Bourbon Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine |
2 cups sifted powdered sugar |
2 tablespoons (1 ounce) bourbon |
2 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Add sugar and bourbon, stirring until sugar dissolves. 2. stirring until sugar dissolves. Gradually stir one-fourth of hot bourbon mixture into beaten eggs; add to remaining hot mixture in pan, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Serve hot. |
