This recipe is what I use when I want to dress up bread pudding. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
2 egg yolks |
1/3 cup bourbon |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar over low heat until all butter is melted. 2. Remove from heat and blend in yolks. 3. Pour in bourbon gradually, stirring constantly. 4. Sauce will thicken as it cools. 5. Serve warm over your favorite bread pudding recipe. |
