Ingredients:
1 pound carrots, scraped and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices |
3/4 cup canned ready-to-serve chicken broth |
2 tablespoons bourbon |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
2 tablespoons margarine |
Directions:
1. Combine carrot, broth, and bourbon in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Uncover and cook over high heat 5 minutes. 2. Add sugar and remaining ingredients to carrot mixture, stirring well. Cook over medium heat an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until carrot is tender. |
