This mop is for keeping meat moist while slow cooking on the smoker. Works well with baby back ribs. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 cups apple cider |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup bourbon |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper, ground |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. 2. Add cider, sugar and pepper. 3. Stir occasionally until it comes to a boil. 4. Remove from heat. 5. Stir in bourbon. 6. Mop ribs every hour. |
