Botched Apple Crisp Awesome Baked Oatmeal W Apple...

I was attempting to make apple crisp and got distracted, and this is what resulted. It actually was really delicious, but more of a breakfast-type food than a dessert. So here it is...Enjoy my blunder..We did!
Ingredients:
5 apples, any variety, peeled, cored and sliced any way
3 individual serving packages of honey-nut instant oatmeal
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or to taste)
3 tsps cinnamon (or to taste)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
walnuts (if desired)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place apples in a casserole dish.
3. Sprinkle with the pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon and toss to coat.
4. In a medium bowl, mix flour, oatmeal and brown sugar.
5. Add melted butter and mix.
6. Spread on top of apples.
7. Sprinkle with walnuts (if using them).
8. Bake for 40 minutes.
9. After you take it out of the oven, mix it all together.
10. Serve and Enjoy!
