Ingredients:
4 cups navy beans |
3 teaspoons salt |
1 onion, chopped |
4 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon dry mustard |
1/2 lb salt pork |
Directions:
1. Soak beans overnight. 2. Drain, cover with fresh water. 3. Bring to boil, simmer until tender, drain. 4. Pour 1/2 of beans into bean pot. 5. Combine remaining ingredients and add to pot. 6. Pour in remaining beans. 7. Cover with boiling water and bake 8 hours at 250 degrees. 8. Watch & add more water if necessary. |
