What do you know about russian food??? Borsh, caviar, vodka??? Ok :) i started from borsh :) it's my favorite russian soup (but excuse my english? ok? ) :) It's a vegetarian version of borsh/ Ingredients:
1 small chopped onion |
2 small grate beetroot |
1 c. of chopped cabbage |
1 grate carrot |
1 chopped sweet paper (paprika ) |
1-2 chopped not big popatoes |
2-3 chopped tomatoes |
6-8 c. of water |
3-4 tbsp. of oil |
3-4 tbsp. of chopped parsley |
1-2 bay leaf (laurel) |
garlic (if you like) |
2 teasp. of vinegar or lemon juce |
sugar by taste |
salt by taste |
Directions:
1. Boiled water with chopper potatoes. 2. After 5 min add there chopper cabbage and boiled it other 5 min 3. At the same time preparing beetroot and other for this: 4. put oil on pan, put chopped onion and fry it till the onion become light yellow (3-4 m) 5. add there grate carrot and preparing together 2-3 m 6. add there grate beetroot and vinegar or lemon juice and preparing together 1 m. 7. add there chopped tomatoes mix all 8. after add chopped pepper and parsley and preparing all near 5 min 9. Add this vegetables in the boiled cabbage. 10. add bay leaf (laurel), garlic (if you like), add salt and paper by test and preparing till cabbage and beetroot will be done 11. If you don’t like this kind of soup you can make from this cream-soup :) 12. Borsh will have real good taste for next day after preparing :) |
