John Wesley Boog Powell was an all-star first baseman and American league MVP for the Baltimore Orioles. He now has a BBQ joint right outside Camden Yards, where the Orioles play. I use the rub on just about anything I BBQ. It’s especially good on ribs and smoked butt. I like to put it on a day in advance, if I can. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon onion powder |
1 tablespoon white pepper |
1 tablespoon black pepper |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon ground red pepper |
1 tablespoon cumin |
2 tablespoons paprika |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. 2. Apply liberally to meat of your choice. |
