Boned Salted Codfish Stew

I wanted to go back to basics so I created this using Salted Cod and vegetables. Enjoy this clasic
Ingredients:
1 16oz box of boned salted codfish
2 carrots
2 medium potatoes skins on and diced
1 large spanish onion rough chopped
2 ribs of celery sliced thin
4 green onions sliced thin
1 package of frozen sweet corn
1 package of frozen peas
2 tablespoons of cilantro
1 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
a pinch of saffron
2 cups of organic milk
2 cups water
3 tablespoons of sunflower oil
Directions:
1. Take the cod out of the container and soak it for an hour in cold water, drain and rinse, cubed into 2 inch pieces and set aside.
2. In a large pot place the oil, Onion, potatoes, carrots and celery cook for 6 minutes until onions are tender.
3. Add the water and the milk and bring to a boil lower heat and simmer for twenty minutes.
4. Add all of the rest of the ingredients and simmer for another 10 minutes
