Very good dip! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 clove garlic, minced |
8 oz can tomato sauce |
3/4 tsp oregano, crushed |
1 tsp sugar |
8 oz cream cheese, softened |
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 cup catsup |
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef, onion and garlic until beef is lightly browned and onion is tender. 2. Stir in tomato sauce, catsup oregano and sugar. Cover, simmer gently for 10 minutes. 3. Spoon off excess fat. Remove from heat and add cream cheese, and parmesan; stir until cream cheese has melted and is well combined. 4. Serve warm with Ritz crackers or Wheat thins. 5. Makes 3 cups |
