This is one of my favorite salads and also one of the most popular with friends and family. Ingredients:
1/4 c sesame seeds |
1 pkg. slivered almonds |
1-2 tsp. garlic powder |
1 t butter |
1 pkg. mr. noodle noodles (any flavor you like), uncooked |
1/3 c. oil |
1/4 c. brown sugar |
2 t soya sauce |
little water |
1 bok choy |
green onions |
Directions:
1. Saute seeds, almonds and garlic powder in butter. Add raw noodles, broken up in smaller pieces. (This mixture can be made the night before and refrigerated) 2. Mix 1/3 c. oil and brown sugar, soya sauce and a little water (2 T.) for the dressing. 3. Wash and cut up the bok choy. . Use both white and green parts. Spin dry. Mix with noodle mixture and dressing. |
