Food Ingredients:
1 cup water |
2 cups raisins |
1 cup margarine |
2 cups sugar |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon allspice |
Directions:
1. Boil raisins in water for 5 minutes. 2. Cream margarine, add sugar, cream well. 3. Beat eggs until light and fluffy. 4. Add vanilla and raisins (with water). 5. Add dry ingredients. 6. One cup of chopped nuts can be added at this time. 7. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. 8. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, depending on size of cookies. |
