This one of my favorite potato dishes, served with cream peas, they can't be beat. They are also very good cooked over a fire. Ingredients:
5 large potatoes |
butter |
salt pepper |
shortening |
Directions:
1. Peel potatoes n cut in to large chunks. 2. Boil til just fork tender but still firm.Drain 3. In large skillet add couple tablespoons shortening n 5 or 6 tablespoons butter. 4. Toss in cooked potatoes, season with salt n pepper, toss to cover all with melted butter. 5. Cook till they are all browned n crispie. |
