Ingredients:
1 medium cabbage, cleaned |
1 (1/2-pound) ham hock, rinsed |
1 small red pepper pod |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large Dutch oven with water to cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 40 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Drain well, and cut into wedges to serve. |
