This is one of my favorite recipes. I have made several kinds of BBQ beef, but this recipe stands out as the best I have ever made, and is fast & easy to prepare. I guarantee that your family & friends will ask for more.
Ingredients:
3 lbs ground chuck
1 large onion (chopped)
1 -15 ounce tomato sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon oniion salt
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 packet g. washington's seasoning
bullseye barbecue sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
1. In a 5 quart pan break up beef, add onion, and pepper and cook on medium heat until meat is thoroughly cooked and fat is completely gone being careful not to burn meat. If necessary pour off remaing grease. Add all other ingredients to beef and mix together well. Add 1/2 bottle BBQ sauce. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for one hour.
