Sounds foreign - but all American goodness. Topped with cream cheese frosting....DEE licious! Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups flour |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup white granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 eggs |
1 cup cooking oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 cup chopped nuts |
1 cup grated coconut |
frosting |
1 package (3 oz. cream cheese, softened |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 of a 16 oz box of confectioners sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2. Grease & flour 10 inch tube pan. Line with wax paper 3. Combine flour with brown sugar, sugar salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda. Mix well 4. In a separate bowl, beat eggs well, then beat in oil, vanilla and buttermilk. 5. Stir into dry ingredients until well blended. 6. Add 1/4 cup nuts and coconut 7. Turn batter into tube pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour 8. Remove from pan and cool on rack. 9. Spread with Cream Cheese Frosting and top with remaining nuts FROSTING 10.
