Bob's Spaghetti Sauce

This is the best spaghetti sauce i've ever had. It makes a ton.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck
2 green peppers, chpd.
4 onions, chpd.
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
24 ounces tomato sauce
32 ounces tomato juice
1 (20 ounce) bottle ketchup
3 tablespoons italian seasoning
garlic powder
brown sugar
Directions:
1. Brown chuck.
2. Add onions and green pepper and saute until onions are clear.
3. Add remaining ingredients.
4. Simmer 4-5 hours.
5. If sauce becomes bitter,
6. add 4 tbs. BROWN sugar (less if desired).
7. Freezes well.
8. I've found lately that some of the cans/jars are not the same sizes as this recipe.
9. It makes absolutely no difference.
10. Use whatever is closest to the sizes called for.
