A friend made it for an office affair and I have never tasted anything so good. A perfect compliment to your favorite veggies (I LOVE it with celery), crackers, bread or anything your imagination can stir up. Read more . I believe Paula Deen's son Bobby came up with this. He certainly made his Mama proud. Try and enjoy. Ingredients:
1- 3 oz. package cream cheese (or eyeball an 8 oz. block the best you can to make 3 oz.), room temperature |
1 cup - grated sharp cheddar cheese |
1 cup - grated monterey jack cheese |
1/2 cup - mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon - house seasoning |
2 to 3 tablespoons - pimentos smashed |
1 teaspoon - grated onion |
cracked black pepper - to taste |
house seasoning |
1 cup - salt (the batch i tasted was made with sea salt) |
1/4 cup - black pepper |
1/4 cup - garlic powder |
mix ingredients together.......... |
store and use in other recipes!! it can be stored in an airtight container for up to 6 months |
Directions:
1. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. 2. Add all the remaining ingredients and beat until well blended. 3. Chill or serve at room temperature. 4. I may be lying on the # of servings this recipe makes! Little scoops serves 15 - 20, big scoops like I took maybe 8 to 10...... :-) 5. That's it!!!! 6. Enjoy! |
