This is my mother's recipe Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup crisco |
3 cups sugar |
5 large eggs |
3 cups flour |
1 cup milk |
2 tablespoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Do not preheat oven. 2. Cream together the butter, crisco and sugar. 3. Add eggs one at a time. 4. Beat well after each egg. 5. Add alternately the flour, milk and vanilla. 6. Mix well after each addition. 7. Grease and flour a bundt pan. 8. Put in cold over, turn the oven to 350 9. Cook at 350 one hour and 20 minutes. |
