This recipe is taken from Of Tide & Thyme published by the Jr. League of Annapolis, MD in 2001. This sauce is recommended to be served with meatballs. Sour mash bourbon is recommended. Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1/4 cup bourbon |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan and Warm SLOWLY. Do not allow the mixture to boil! Pour over meatballs while hot and serve immediately. |
