great dessert for anytime Ingredients:
1 pt. fresh or frozen blueberries |
1 (14oz ) can of sweetened condensed milk (not evaported milk) |
2 tsp. grated lemon peel |
3/4 plus 2 tbsp.cold butter |
2 cups biscuit baking mix, divided |
1/2 cup firmly packed br. sugar |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
vanilla ice cream |

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. In a small bowl combine blueberries 2. condensed milk & peel 3. In large bowl, cut 3/4 cup butter into 1 1/2 into 1 1/2 cups 4. biscuit mix until crumbly; add blueberry mixture. Spread in a 5. greased 9 sqare baking pan 6. In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup biscuit mix & sugar; 7. cut in remaing 2 TBSP. butter until crumbly. Add nuts. Sprinkle over cobbler 8. Bake 1hr. 10 min. or until golden 9. Serve warm with ice cream & blueberry sauce 10. Blueberry sauce: 11. in sauce pan, combine 1/2 cup sugar,1TBSP. cornstarch. 1/2 tsp. 12. ground cinnamon,& 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 13. Gradually add 1/2 cup water. 14. Cook & stir until thickened. Stir 1 pt. blueberries, cook & stir 15. until hot |
