This is very tasty. Great for breakfast, brunch, snack or dessert. Ingredients:
2 cups fresh blueberries |
1/4 cup sugar |
1-1/2 cups flour sifted |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup salad oil |
2 tablespoon milk |
streusel |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoon flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoon butter or margarine |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar over berries then set aside. 2. Mix flour, sugar and salt. 3. Combine salad oil and milk in a small bowl and whip with fork then pour over flour mixture. 4. Mix with fork until moist then turn into greased square cake pan. 5. Press dough into pan building up edges about one inch deep. 6. Spread berries over the dough. 7. Mix sugar, flour and salt together then cut in butter until crumbly and sprinkle over fruit. 8. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes. |
