This delicious sauce can be used in so many different ways- to top ice cream or cheesecake, layered with whipped cream and sliced pound cake, or warmed and served over pancakes. Ingredients:
1 lb fresh blueberries or 1 lb frozen blueberries |
1/2 cup sugar |
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
2 teaspoons cornstarch |
1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemons, rind of |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. 2. Stir over medium heat until cornstarch dissolves. 3. Boil until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes. 4. Cover and refrigerate. |
