BLUEBERRY PINEAPPLE DUMP CAKE This recipe came from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brooks Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1988. Ingredients:
20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice |
21 ounce can blueberry pie filling |
1 box yellow cake mix |
2 sticks butter each cut into 12 slices |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 then spray rectangular baking pan with cooking spray. 2. Dump pineapple with juice into pan and spread out evenly. 3. Spread blueberry pie filling evenly on top of the pineapple. 4. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the blueberry and pineapple layers. 5. Cut butter into slices with butter knife and place slices evenly over cake mix. 6. Sprinkle nuts on top then place in oven and bake 1 hour then serve warm. |
