Ingredients:
4 cup(s) fresh blueberries (can use frozen)
3/4 cup(s) sugar
3 to 4 tablespoon(s) flour (if using frozen berries, increase to 4 1/2 tablespoons)
1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon(s) dash of salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) each cinnamon and nutmeg
1 to 2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
1 tablespoon(s) butter
2 pie shells
Directions:
1. Mix together sugar, flour, lemon peel & salt (and spices) in bowl.
2. In pie crust, add berries, then dry mixture.
3. Sprinkle with lemon juice & dot with butter. Adjust top crust.
4. Sprinkle sugar on top, cut air slits & Bake at 400 for 35-40 minutes.
5. Check the crust while baking. If outer edges brown too quickly, add a strip of foil about the edges.
