Ingredients:
4 cup(s) blueberries |
7 tablespoon(s) corn starch |
3 tablespoon(s) water |
2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon(s) allspice |
2/3 cup(s) sugar |
1/4 cup(s) sugar |
1/2 cup(s) flour |
1/4 cup(s) butter |
Directions:
1. Make Pie Crust using recipe Grandma's Pie Crust 2. Rinse the berries in colander with cold water 3. Mix the dry filling ingredients 4. Combine the 2/3 cup sugar, 7 Tablespoons of corn starch Cinnamon and allspice in a bowl and mix well! 5. Mix in liquids 6. Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of water, stir well. 7. Add the blueberries to the pie crust 8. Blueberries will cook down, so don't worry if they mound up an inch or so above the edge of the plate. 9. Pour the liquid mix into the pie 10. Pour the mixture of liquids from step 4 all over the blueberries 11. Make and add topping 12. Mix all the ingredients of crumb topping together and sprinkle it over pie 13. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour until golden and bubbling. Remove from oven and let cool |
