A spin on the savoury dish. Sweet but not heavy You can also omit blueberries and use just about any fruit-or try a mixture of chocolate&marshmallow!!!!(choc.chips mixed w/marshmallow fluff) Ingredients:
filling: 2 c blueberries |
1 tbsp butter |
1/4 c sugar |
dough: 2 c flour-sifted |
2 eggs |
2 tsp salt |
1/3 - 1/2 c cold water |
1tbsp butter |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Filling:combine together in a bowl and microwave for 3 minutes. 2. Dough: combine flour,eggs,& salt. 3. Add h2o little a time-just until moistened & workable & holds together 4. knead for a few minutes 5. cut dough in half 6. roll one half out to 1/4 thickness 7. cut dough into 4 circles 8. for each perogie place a Tbsp. of filling in center of dough 9. fold over to form a 1/2 moon 10. crimp edges together w/ fork tines 11. repeat w/ other half of the dough 12. Boil a pot of water 13. when the water is boiling add 1tbsp salt 14. add perogies 15. cook 5-7 min.( they will float when done) 16. in a saute' pan melt 1 tbsp butter 17. add perogies and sautee to desired texture 18. transfer toa plate and immediately sift powdered sugar over hot perogies 19. ENJOY! |
