Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten |
1 1/2 cups buttermilk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon allspice |
2 tablespoons melted shortening |
1 cup blueberries |
Directions:
1. Combine egg, buttermilk and vanilla; beat until well blended. 2. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to egg mixture along with melted shortening and beat until smooth. 3. Stir in blueberries. Pour batter onto heated griddle. Cook until full of bubbles and brown. Turn and brown other side. |
