I eat these every morning for breakfast. Sounds like a weird combo but it's REALLY tasty! Wild organic blueberries are jam packed with Vitamin K, Manganese, Antioxidants and anthocyanins. They have been shown to lower Cholesterol and are good for anti-aging. Kefir has several major strains of friendly bacteria not commonly found in yogurt, Lactobacillus Caucasus, Leuconostoc, Acetobacter species, and Streptococcus species. It also contains beneficial yeasts, such as Saccharomyces kefir and Torula kefir, which dominate, control and eliminate destructive pathogenic yeasts in the body. ( ) Bananas are rich in Potassium.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup kefir
1 medium banana, frozen
1/2 cup wild organic blueberries, frozen or 1/2 cup dark cherries, pitted and frozen
stevia or sugar
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
2. Blend completely on high.
3. Serve in a glass.
