No ice cream machine is needed for this recipe! My sister just gave me this recipe and she says it is excellent! (I haven't had it yet). Ingredients:
2 cups blueberries or 10 ounces unsweetened frozen blueberries |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
2 cups heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Combine blueberries, sugar and water and simmer for 10 minutes. 2. Soak gelatin in lemon juice. 3. Chill until slightly thickened. 4. Whip cream until peaks form. 5. Fold in blueberries. 6. Cover and freeze 3 hours. |
