This is a really good crumble cake that is very easy to make. Ingredients:
3/4 c sugar |
1/4 c shortening |
1 egg |
1/2 c milk |
2 c flour |
2 tsp baking powder |
1/2 tsp salt |
2 c fresh or frozen blueberries |
topping |
1/2 c white granulated sugar |
1/3 c all-purpose flour |
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/4 c butter or margerine, softened |
Directions:
1. Preheate oven to 375 degrees F. Grease one 8x8 BAKER'S SECRET Square cake pan. 2. Cream together 3/4 C sugar, shortening, and egg. 3. In a separate bowl mix 2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into sugar mixture, alternating with milk. Stir in blueberries. Pour into pan. 4. Topping: Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter or margarine. Sprinkle over cake batter. 5. Bake for 25-30 minutes. |
