This simple-to-make dessert comes together in a jiffy. If you like, you can substitute the blueberry pie filling with other flavors, such as apple or cherry.Nelda Cronbaugh, Belle Plaine, Iowa Ingredients:
1 can (21 ounces) blueberry pie filling |
1 package (9 ounces) yellow cake mix |
1/4 cup chopped pecans |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
vanilla ice cream, optional |
Directions:
1. Place pie filling in a greased 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker. Sprinkle with cake mix and pecans. Drizzle with butter. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream if desired. Yield: 6 servings. |
