Ingredients:
1/4 cup(s) butter softened |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cup(s) flour sifted |
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) milk |
2 cup(s) fresh blueberries |
1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar |
1/3 cup(s) flour |
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1/4 cup(s) butter cold, diced small |
Directions:
1. cream together the butter and 3/4 c. sugar. blend egg into creamed mixture. in another bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt. add flour mixture alternating with milk. gently fold in blueberries. pour into greased 8 x 8 square pan. sprinkle with crumb topping (recipe below). bake 375 for 40-45 minutes. 2. CRUMB TOPPING 3. in a small bowl mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon. with a pastry blender cut the butter into sugar mixture untill mixture resembles coarse meal. |
