Blueberry Black Walnut Bread (Cake) |

This recipe began as a scout project back in the 1970's as a cranberry nut bread, but I prefer blue berries. Black walnuts have a distinct strong flavor, so don't use any more than recipe calls for. Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup milk |
3 cups pancake mix (complete) |
1/2 cup black walnut (finely chopped) |
1 egg |
1 cup blueberries |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients together. 2. Recipe makes two 4”x 8” loaves. 3. Bake in 350° F oven for 45 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. |
