In an ancient Greek myth, Triton (yes the name of the king merman in The Little Mermaid ^_^) was the son of the sea god Poseidon (Roman name Neptune.) This was created last night when I discovered the bar did not have all the ingredients for a Blue Neptune recipe I wanted to try. The simple to make, ridiculously easy to drink cocktail isn't quite an exact science so it is obviously made for experimentation. Note: As this was done on the fly, I will include my tips for making it tastier in the last step
Ingredients:
2 ounces orange-infused vodka or 2 ounces lemon-flavored vodka
splash blue curacao, mostly for color
1/2-1 ounce prepared sweet-and-sour mix
club soda, to fill
Directions:
1. Pour vodka, Curacao, and Sweet and Sour mix into a sipping glass with ice.
2. Fill with club soda.
3. Also try pouring first three ingredients into a shaker of ice.
4. A few good shakes and strain into a chilled martini glass.
5. Make it only a splash of club soda for a bit of carbonation.
