Directions:
1. With the Native American,an oral wisdom came down through the generations,by way of stores, lores.
2. Sitting on the ground, chin in hands, eyes wide open and listening of bravery, valor, hunters, gathers, about the connection with the natural world.
3. The Native American made an art out of survival.
4. Just as paint is placed on the canvas, layer by layer,so too is the artistic care into what is built, either shelter,fire...every attention paid to produce a warmer shelter, more efficient fire, more reliable instrument.
5. Everytime I went out to explore the homeplace on foot,Grandad would always raise his hand with 3 fingers extended...No,not a Boy Scout Salute....but....A TEACHING.
6. For me to remember, ever lost, concentrate on keeping warm or cool, depending on what time of year it was, find a water or liquid supply, and then find nourishment...in that order.
7. If you ever get a chance or have the inclination, connect with this earth that God has given you.
8. You will never be quite the same afterwards.
9. ~Returning a Renewed Spirit.~
