We could not get enough of this spread when we served it with apple slices. The creamy cheese mixture and crunchy pecans make a great combination with the sweetness of the apple. But if apples are too high in carbs for you, we loved it with crisp celery sticks, too. Ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) package fat-free cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese |
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese and blue cheese in a food processor; process 20 seconds or until blended. 2. Line a 1-cup bowl with plastic wrap; press cheese mixture into bowl. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. 3. Unmold cheese, and remove plastic wrap. Roll outside edge of cheese in chopped pecans. Serve cheese spread with celery sticks and apple slices (celery and apple not included in analysis). 4. carbo rating: 1 |
