Blue Cheese Sauce for Steaks, Burgers, and Chicken

A tasty sauce to top beef or chicken.
Ingredients:
1 green onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 tablespoon white wine or 1 tablespoon chicken broth
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 dash pepper sauce
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender.
2. Sprinkle with flour; stir until blended.
3. Gradually add milk.
4. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
5. Add blue cheese, wine or chicken broth, white pepper and pepper sauce.
6. Heat through.
7. Serve sauce over meat.
