Watch this classic potato casserole take on new taste by adding blue cheese. Ingredients:
8 medium potatoes |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup flour |
1 cup milk |
1 cup cream |
1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled |
1/3 cup breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 375. 2. Boil the potatoes. 3. Allow to coolslightly and dice. 4. Place in a casserole dish. 5. Melt the butter in a saucepan. 6. Whisk in the flour and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. 7. Whisk in the milk and cream. 8. Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. 9. Whisk in the cheese until blended. 10. Pour over the potatoes. 11. Top with the breadcrumbs and bake for 25 minutes. |
