Tired of the boring old hamburgers? If you like blue cheese this is for you. These unforgetable burgers are bursting with flavor. Plan ahead, why not make up some extras and place in the freezer for later use? Ingredients:
3 pounds lean ground beef |
4 oz crumbled blue cheese |
12 hamburger buns or french rolls |
1 tsp worcestershire sauce |
1 tsp dry mustard |
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce |
1/2 cup fresh chives, minced |
1 1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground |
Directions:
1. Combine the ground beef, blue cheese, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, hot pepper sauce, chives, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Place, covered, in the refrigerator for 2 hours. 2. Preheat grill on high heat. Gently create about 12 patties from the mixture. 3. Oil the grate and grill patties 5 minutes per side, or until they’re well done. Serve on rolls or buns. |
