Blue Cheese Beet And Bacon Salad |

A wonderful salad to serve with just about anything. I put no prep as the only cooking is the 5 minutes to cook the bacon. Ingredients:
1 pkg. (10 oz.) torn romaine or baby spinach |
1 jar (15 oz.) julienne beets, drained |
1/2 cup blue cheese or goat cheese, crumbled |
1/2 cup walnut pieces, toasted |
1/3 cup red or green onion, thinly sliced |
6 or 1/3 slices bacon or cup bacon bits, cooked and crumbled |
1/2 cup italian vinaigrette salad dressing garlic croutons |
Directions:
1. Layer lettuce, beets, cheese, nuts, onion and bacon on serving platter. 2. Drizzle with dressing and toss with croutons. |
