Another recipe from the good people at Moosewood Restaurant. Chill time is cooking time. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups crumbled blue cheese (roquefort, gorgonzola, or danish blue) |
3/4 cup butter, room temperature |
1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce or 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce |
1 tablespoon minced onion |
1 cup finely chopped toasted almond |
Directions:
1. Combine cheese, butter, Tabasco and onion in food processor. Process until smooth. 2. Form into walnut size balls. Roll in almonds. 3. Chill, covered in refrigerator. 4. Serve on a cheese board with crackers and rye bread triangles with sliced cherry tomatoes or radishes. |
