Blue Cheese And Kalamata Olive Spread |

Delicious. Serve in a bowl surrounded by thinly sliced French bread or serve with your favorite crackers. Ingredients:
8 ounces pitted kalamata olives (can use black olives or your favorite olives) |
4 cloves garlic, minced |
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts |
6 tablespoons olive oil, maybe more if needed |
1/4 pound blue cheese, may also use roquefort or gorgonzola |
small loaf french bread, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. In bowl of a food processor, place olives, garlic, nuts, and olive oil 2. Process with on/off pulses until mixture is finely chopped and blended 3. Add cheese, pulse until a smooth consistency 4. Make sure that the paste is moist. May have to add more olive oil 5. by the teaspoon 6. Transfer to bowl and refrigerate until about 15 minutes before serving |
